Once upon a time…I started a blog at www.russianblessings.wordpress.com. This blog was the story of our journey to our son through the blessing of adoption from Russia. The blog also talked about our journey from infertility to adoption. After our son came home and we settled in as a family, we began the journey to our baby girl through the domestic adoption process. She was born at 27 weeks gestation but is thriving despite being a preemie. Now our son is 8 years old and our daughter is 5years old. In 2013 we welcomed another daughter and son into our family through international adoption. Our oldest daughter is 12and our oldest son is 11. We are homeschooling our children in Charlotte Mason/Classical style.
My husband (Alan, known as “Papa” around here) works at the local classical radio station,Classical 90.5 WUOL ( www.wuol.org. ) and plays ukulele for fun.
For fun, I crash with a good book or watch “I Love Lucy.” I’m also crazy about history and gluten-free recipes.
